It was the brain child of John Gower, working as the printers in Whyteleafe, the reputation of quality soon spread. Litho Techniques then supplied printing in Caterham, becoming the print provider to many businesses in the Surrey, London and the home counties. Alan Gilbert joined Litho in 1981 and worked closely with John to grow the core business of Litho's printing service.   1986.   When Warren Gilbert began his apprenticeship here, Litho Techniques started supplying printers in Croydon with their trade requirements. The opportunity arose for Alan and Warren to take on the ownership of Litho Techniques and so the baton was passed. Building on the already established reputation in the local area, they decided to exploit the overseas market by starting a translation division. With projects such as the oil pipeline in Siberia and many more throughout the Far East and Asia, Litho became acclimatized to business practices internationally.   1991.   After serving a pre-press apprenticeship of 4 years in a trade reprographic house, Stewart Gilbert joined the family business with a view to expand the design and branding side as well as develop the pre-press department. By 1995 both Stewart and Warren were modernizing all aspects of Litho Techniques from design to pre-press to printing and finishing.   Today.   As a company over the past few years we have taken steps to concentrate on the localization of our business once again. The support we provide all of our clients by becoming the print provider to companies both big and small is something we are extremely proud of.
